Have Jews and Christians corrupted the Bible?
While Muslims acknowledge Jews and Christians as "people of the book" -- that is, as fellow participants in the Abrahamic faith recorded in God's written revelation -- this comes with an important caveat: Muslims believe Jews and Christians have corrupted the Bible. Therefore, it cannot be trusted. However, this claim poses problems that begin with the Qur'an itself.

Can we trust the New Testament manuscripts?
Fiction writers like Dan Brown ( The DaVinci Code ) and popular scholars like Bart Ehrman ( The Orthodox Corruption of Scripture ) have convinced many people the New Testament is unreliable. But is this true? Fortunately, the case for the reliability of Scripture is stronger today than it has ever been, as scholar Craig Evans highlights in the film "Fragments of Truth."

Is heaven our final home? (Part 1)
Is heaven the final destination of all who rest in Jesus? Or do we spend eternity someplace else? We begin the first in a two-part series with a look at the writing of the apostles Paul and John, as well as three ways the Bible employs the term "heaven."

Meet Daniel Weyand
Daniel Weyand, pastor of Sonrise Baptist Church, Bonne Terre, Mo., is the newest member of the Missouri Baptist Apologetics Network. His church hosts an annual conference for former and questioning Jehovah's Witnesses, and Daniel leads his congregation into deep studies of sound doctrine.

Is heaven our final home? (Part 2)
Scripture describes heaven as the intermediate state between death and resurrection for followers of Jesus as we await future resurrection and glorification. And the New Testament reveals no fewer than 12 truths about our heavenly home.

Engaging Latter-day Saints
Wil Hoffmann, president of the Mo. Baptist Apologetics Network, has just released When They Come to Your Door , a handy reference for engaging Latter-day Saints (Mormons) when they knock on your door. Hoffmann served as a Southern Baptist pastor in Utah before coming to Missouri, and his first-hand experience with Mormons helps shape his list of do's and don'ts.

What Every Christian Should Know About the Trinity
The Missouri Baptist Convention has released a new resource for personal or group study. What Every Christian Should Know About the Trinity explores the biblical foundation of belief in one true and living God, who exists as three distinct, but inseparable, co-equal, co-eternal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
