MARRIAGE BLESSING Sunday, November 17th 10.15 am Anna Cameron and Jonathon McCallum's recent marriage will be blessed during the service. There will be a reception afterwards in honour of the couple!

NATIONAL HOUSING DAY Sunday, November 17th 2 pm, City Hall Come and share in this important day, as St John's will be receiving the Tulipathon Award. It is a wonderful event to attend and meet others involved in homelessness and housing.

THURSDAY A.M. WITH ALBERT DUMONT Thursday, November 21st 10.30 am, Hall Thursday AM is a gathering of folks on the 3rd Thursday of each month. In November, Algonquin Spiritual Teacher in Residence at Christ Church Cathedral, Albert Dumont, will introduce us to his book of poetry, Sitting by the Rapids.  All are most welcome! BAPTISM  Sunday, November 24th 10.15 am Gwendolyn Spraakman Dowie will be baptized at the 10.15 am service. Come and enjoy some cake at coffee hour afterwards to welcome her!

Senior Social Lunch Friday, November 29th noon at St Theresa Church The Neighbourhood Seniors Social is at noon in St Theresa church on the corner of Somerset and Cartier. Please come in through the elevator entrance on Cartier. Please encourage an isolated friend to come along too, and meet some new people from our neighbourhood.

ADVENT WREATH MAKING  Sunday, December 1st 9 am, Hall On this first Sunday of Advent, come and make a wreath of real boughs for use at home throughout Advent. Wooden forms and candles will be provided for $10 per wreath (or pay what you can). Please bring a breakfast snack to share and greenery if you have access to any. This is a fun event for ALL ages! CHRISTMAS CONCERT Sunday, December 1st at Woodroffe United and Sunday, December 8th at St John's St John's Choir will be joined by the choirs of Woodroffe United Church and Kanata United Church as well as the Strings of St John's chamber orchestra to present a concert of music for the Christmas season.
