Come and share in this important day, as St John's will be receiving the Tulipathon Award. It is a wonderful event to attend and meet others involved in homelessness and housing.

Thursday AM is a gathering of folks on the 3rd Thursday of each month. In November, Algonquin Spiritual Teacher in Residence at Christ Church Cathedral, Albert Dumont, will introduce us to his book of poetry, Sitting by the Rapids.  All are most welcome!

The Neighbourhood Seniors Social is at noon in St Theresa church on the corner of Somerset and Cartier. Please come in through the elevator entrance on Cartier. Please encourage an isolated friend to come along too, and meet some new people from our neighbourhood.
ADVENT WREATH MAKING

Sunday, December 1st
9 am, Hall
On this first Sunday of Advent, come and make a wreath of real boughs for use at home throughout Advent. Wooden forms and candles will be provided for $10 per wreath (or pay what you can).

Please bring a breakfast snack to share and greenery if you have access to any. This is a fun event for ALL ages!

St John's Choir will be joined by the choirs of Woodroffe United Church and Kanata United Church as well as the Strings of St John's chamber orchestra to present a concert of music for the Christmas season.
