New technologies awarded top winner of HIT Foundation competition
Arcun Tanju
President
Home Helpers & Direct Link of Walnut Creek
At present, Home Helpers provides in-home non-medical home care services and personal emergency monitoring services through the Internet of Things (IoT) devices to its clients. New technologies hold tremendous potential for developing new services for seniors. We envisioned a system to encourage seniors to digitize their health data so that they can benefit from the new preventive services. Tokenization of digital health data will reduce the overall cost of healthcare. This project was presented in Digital Health Forum in Zurich in September 2018 and awarded as the top winner of HIT Foundation competition. To read the article, click here.
