How Have Your Donations Helped?
This year we were able to sponsor
over
20 teens. Your generous donations provided funds for resident camps, sport camps, spiritual retreats and basketball and music programs. Don't forget that JSRF funds
up to $1,500 per teen as needed!
This year JSRF was able to help teens affected by hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico by supplying sports equipment and musical instruments. The basketball team we supplied equipment to went on to win their regional championship. The group of musical students from Rincon, Puerto Rico for whom we purchased instruments was able to continue their music program, and we have just learned that they will be performing at Carnegie Hall next July provided they raise the necessary funds. These supplies and instruments will continue to help other teens in the years to come and none of this would have happened if it were not for your caring and generosity.
It is with continued gratitude and a humble heart that we can share with you that our grand total since the inception of JSRF in 2011 has reached 146 teens plus over 40 teens that will benefit from the instruments we purchased ... far exceeding our initial goal of 1 teen per year! On behalf of all the teens, thank you for caring and making a difference. We believe our teens will never forget the tremendous opportunities made possible by YOU!
