What:  The 100th Anniversary Annual Dinner of the Greater Burlington Partnership is a great time to showcase your business by donating to the Silent Auction. Businesses who donate to the Silent Auction are recognized in the program and from the podium for their donation. Businesses can donate a basket, products or gift certificates, or a monetary donation for a basket.

Winter League at Flint River Indoor Shooting Range 
What: Sign up for Winter League to test your marksmanship skills against other competitors. Cost is $72 and lasts 6 weeks. 1st place wins $100 gift card, 2nd place wins $50 gift card, 3rd place wins $25 gift card.
When: Sign up now - December 31. Winter League starts January 4 at 5 PM, and will continue every Saturday at 5 PM for 6 weeks.

BLCMS Special Concert: Vidya Mullangi Violin Recital 
What:  Burlington Lunchtime Chamber Music Series presents a special concert featuring violinist Vidya Mullangi performing works by J. S. Bach, Max Bruch, and Claude Debussy with pianist Leigh Pirtle. Please note the date and time as they are different from our regular schedule. Free and open to the public.

Great River Medical Center Offers Diabetes Class in January
What:  Great River Medical Centers Diabetes Education Program offers a four-week group diabetes class every month.  The group diabetes class is for people who are newly diagnosed, making a change in treatment, or having complications or concerns. A physician referral for diabetes education is required. Most insurance companies cover the fee for the class series. A family member or friend is encouraged to attend at no additional cost.

Burlington Civic Music Association Presents FANDANGO! 
What: Hailed as the most exciting new group on Chicago's musical scene, FANDANGO! plays a spicy mix of Latin, Spanish, Sephardic, Balkan and classical sounds. Come enjoy a unique blend of cello, flute, violin, and guitar that could be the first of BCM's classical concerts of live music.

Balance Class Begins January 14 at Great River Medical Center
What:  A nationally recognized program that helps people reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels. Eight-week session.  $50 for Health Fitness members and $60 for others. It includes classes, educational materials and snacks. A minimum of 12 participants is required for this class.

Health Fitness Offers Arthritis Exercise Program
What: Walk With Ease, a n Arthritis Foundation exercise program.  $50 for Health Fitness members and $60 for other. Nonmembers have the option of using the gym through March 5 at a reduced rate. A minimum of 12 participants is required for this class.  People with arthritis who can be on their feet for 10 minutes without increased pain can have success with this program.

Livestrong at the YMCA 
What:  The Burlington Y is running a free program for cancer survivors in the area. Open to adults who have had a cancer diagnosis and are at any stage of recovery and treatment. Specially trained instructors guide participants through areas of exercise, focusing on cardio endurance, strength, flexibility and balance. Classes are held twice per week for 3 months and include a membership to the Burlington Y during the program. Registration is open now until the middle of January 2020.
