Trivia Night isn't Trivial Pursuit! Trivia Night is a fun, informal and wacky competition where 8-person teams battle to see who has the greatest knowledge of all matters trivial. General knowledge and trivia interest questions are asked by fabulous hosts and the winners are the team which, at the end of the night, have correctly answered the most number of questions. Come join us!

Middle School Movie Night
Friday, November 2nd, 6-9pm  
  
On the 1st Friday of each month, the Y will host an evening for Middle School Youth!  Join us for a Movie, geared toward Middle School Youth, and snacks.  This Friday we will be showing "Skyscraper". After the show, join staff for activities like Dodgeball or Wallyball until 9:00pm.

Kids' Night Out
Saturday, November 10th, 6:00-10:00pm
Kindergarten - 5th graders
 
A great night of team building, fitness, fun with relays, games and crafts, and swimming, topped off with a large projection movie. Dinner and snacks will be included.  Pre-registration is required, along with signed release forms.  Just $12 per child.

Christmas is for children and Breakfast With Santa is for true believers of any age! You can take it all at a toddler's pace since there will be lots of fun things for kids and parents to do. We have stories & crafts, and children can visit with Santa about their Christmas wish list!
A light breakfast will be served.  

$3 per person...tickets are on sale now at Member Services.

Family Meal Night
Tuesday, November 20th
Meal Pick up from 4:30-6:00pm

National Family Week is November 18th-24th.
In celebration, Family Program Services is offering a take and bake family meal, complete with everything you need to satisfy your family's appetite!
   
  No mess...No dishes...no hassles!
 
You can reserve your family meal by picking up an order form at Member Services.   Order forms are also available at on muscatiney.org, just print and fill your copy and return it to Member Services by Friday, November 16th.  Meal reservation and credit card payments can also be done over the phone.
 
Cost of the entire meal is only $10.00 for a family of 4, and an additional $2.00 for each serving after (up to 3 extra servings.)

Free Workshops 
Serving families has always been at the heart of the Y. We are a place where they can find respite from social, economic and educational challenges, and learn how to overcome them. Through the different workshops offered, we have a fundamental desire to provide opportunities for every family to build stronger bonds, achieve greater balance in their lives, and become more engaged with their communities.
 
All workshops are held at the Y and are open to the public.  Child care is provided free of charge for workshop participants.  For more information, please contact Holly at 263-9996.

HEALTHY LIVING
Nutrition & Health Seminar 
Tuesday, November 13th,  6:30-7:30pm

This seminar will present information on good nutrition to develop a healthy lifestyle. Discussion will include fats,  proteins, carbohydrates, vitamin s, minerals and phytochemicals. How nutrients regulate appetite, food allergies, food labels, the effects of nutrition and exercise on cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes will also be  presented. Learn to eat healthier to "be a better you." Presenter: Michael Edmonds, PhD. Author of "Healthy Eating Made Easy." 

This workshop is FREE to members and nonmembers.  
 

Demo Week 
November 11th-17th

L iving healthy is about spirit, mind and body at every age and stage. The Y offers classes as well as personal attention that comes with a trainer to help you set and meet your specific goals in order to live healthier.  

Demo week is for ALL Adult Fitness classes including Indoor Cycling AND Preschool/Youth Classes. The perfect week for you to make every class for you and your kids, your favorite class.

Fall Session III starts November 18th

Most adult aquatics and land fitness classes are free with your membership.
