Bits and Pieces
The flowers that you see at the library are sponsored by the Friends of Somers Library and donated by local businesses. We thank
Il Forno Restaurant for donating this month's flower arrangement.
Susan Oliverio (aka Susan Grace) has never been a professional artist. Having a diverse background (as a nurse and later an attorney) and a large family (4 kids, 9 grands) meant that she was often in an office and/or obligated to long hours. It wasn't until retirement that she was able to develop her interest in artistic expression.
Most of her work comes from travels with her husband and her most loved location, New York City. With the photographic image, she tries to capture an essence of an emotion, a unique perspective or tell a story. She has shown in various galleries in New York, Westchester and Long Island.
She appreciates the opportunity to share her world with you at the Somers Library. She can be reached for questions or comments at [email protected].
