CONFERENCE NEWS
An ordinary revival has started
Across the northwest, rooms filled with ordinary people are putting their trust again in an extraordinary God!

This video provides a snapshot of the 'Love Thy Neighbor' Ordinary Revivals as they crossed the Greater Northwest last summer, seeking to inspire new connections between faithful people and the communities they live in. These revivals remind us that God is indeed at work outside the church and that there is strength in diverse communities that keep their hearts open to cries for justice.

Keep your eyes open for information on revivals coming to Boise (ID), Anchorage (AK) and Tri-Cities (WA) in the spring of 2019.
Congratulations, St. John!
Last Sunday, St. John in Anchorage, burned their mortgage on their church building. They are now debt free!  At worship, they shredded the document and each person who attended took a slip of the shredded mortgage and threw it in the fire which burning in a cauldron in front of the building. You can read more about this amazing milestone and how it came to be through Pastor Andy Bartel's blogpost at http://www.stjohneagle.com/blog
Annual Holiday Auction & Luncheon
All are welcome to join the Anchor Park UMW in their annual Holiday Auction & Luncheon.

For $17 you can come and enjoy a wonderful meal (appetizers, salad, chicken, potatoes, vegetables, home made bread, a variety of desserts, coffee and tea) with a great group of women who want to support mission with women, children and youth locally, statewide, nationally, and internationally through the work of United Methodist Women.

Donations of all kinds are welcome but we particularly welcome home crafted and baked items.  All donated items should be accompanied by a donation form.  All items should be received by Wednesday, November 7th unless other arrangements have been made.

Money raised from the sale of sale items, silent auction items, and live auction items goes toward mission.

Phone reservations can be made through the Anchor Park office at 277-0152.  Please name the persons attending when you call.  Reservation are welcomed through Thursday, November 8th at 1pm.  This will enable us to set enough places at the tables as well as prepare enough food.  If you have any questions, please contact Jo Anne Hayden at 903-5025.

You won't want to miss it THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2018 from 10:45-2:15!
