Buddy Walk Notes

Thank you to everyone who attended Buddy Walk, participated in fundraising and volunteered. Totals and top fundraisers will be announced in the December Newsletter. If you have any last minute donations, the fundraising deadline is November 15, 2018. Donations can still be made online, or by check made payable to DSAG and mailed to PO Box 53575, Knoxville, TN 37950. If you have any questions feel free to email angie.holbert@dsagtn.org.

Possible Christmas movie event- December 1
PLEASE RESPOND BELOW

Depending on the interest and availability of DSAG families, we may host a showing of The Grinch on Saturday, December 1 at 11:00 am at Regal Cinemas-Pinnacle Turkey Creek.
The cost will be $5 per person.
Number of seats will be limited.
Concessions will be available for you to purchase.
If there is enough interest, look for an RSVP form and more details soon.

Littles and Lattes
Wednesday, November 14
DSAG is excited to offer a program for our preschool age group. Littles and Lattes is designed to be a playgroup type setting for children with Ds (ages birth to 6 years) and their parents. Feel free to bring your own latte or enjoy the provided coffee. Thank you to First Baptist Concord's Helping Hands Ministry for providing the space for us to meet.

Individuals with Down syndrome aged 10 and above are invited to participate in this fun day of bowling with the CAK Bowling Club. Parents may drop off their child or may stay and watch.

When: Saturday, December 8 from 1-2:30 pm
Where: Oak Ridge Bowling Center

Cost: $10 per participant at event

Medical grants

UHCCF grants provide financial help/assistance for families with children that have medical needs not covered or not fully covered by their commercial health insurance plan. The Foundation aims to fill the gap between what medical services/items a child needs and what their commercial health benefit plan will pay for.
