Alumni Connections Online Reunion is May 13
The La Follette School’s first online alumni reunion is less than a month away! Alumni from 1975 through 2018 already have registered for the hour-long event Thursday, 5/13.

New Certificate in Health Policy
Recognizing interest among undergraduate students to gain skills for improving the U.S. healthcare system, as well as demand among employers, the La Follette School of Public Affairs is launching a Certificate in Health Policy.

Nearly $24,600 raised to support graduate students
A very special thank you to the 111 alumni and other donors who contributed to the La Follette School during UW–Madison’s second Day of the Badger. With a generous $10,000 incentive gift from Michael (MA ’82) and JoAnn Youngman, the School raised nearly $24,600 to support under-represented students in its graduate degree programs.

Visit Day showcases La Follette School community
The La Follette School welcomed more than 50 prospective graduate students March 22 for its second all-virtual Visit Day. More than three dozen faculty, staff, and students assisted with the event, which was organized by Marie Koko and David Wright-Racette.

The La Follette School convened legislators and staff to discuss how social, economic, and physical environment factors—often called social determinants of health—affect Wisconsin families’ health. The discussions were part of the Continuing the Conversation series held after each Wisconsin Family Impact Seminar.
