Director's Note

We have so much to be grateful for as we begin to recap the Ivymount Gala at the National Cathedral. We'll share more details in the coming week on Iymount.org.

For now, we will start by thanking everyone for helping to make this such a successful event for our school and outreach programs. Our parents, staff, community members, and partners all pulled together in support of this biennial fundraiser initiative for our school. We feel fortunate to have such an amazing team in place. The speeches from the event were powerful, creating so many wonderful memories and resulting in a significant amount of money raised.

It was also wonderful to honor our student artists who had items in the silent and live auctions, as well as our PHS Soapery for contributing to this amazing event. Our team efforts contributed to making this event a great success.

Congratulations to our amazing former CEO and longtime school director Jan Wintrol. Click below to watch Jan's tribute video that was shown at the gala.

On a different note, for those of you looking for more information on state testing, please access the Testing Resources tab in the Family Portal on the Ivymount website. You'll find test prep resources, links for understanding score reports and updates about specific assessments. Click here for more details.

Reminder: There is no school for students this Tuesday, November 6th. It is a Professional Day for staff.

Thanks for all of the Box Tops!

The PTA's Box Tops drive was a great success. We collected over 3,500.

Congratulations to the two top Box Tops collecting classrooms:

LEI with 900
LE3 with 805

LE1 and LE3 teachers will receive a $25 Amazon gift card to purchase something special for their class.

Honorable mentions to Room 230 with 486, LE2 with 244, and Room 180 with 231 box tops collected.

Our next collection drive will be in January. Box Tops add up so please start collecting them now.

All the money from Box Top collections goes to the Ivymount PTA. Thanks again for your help with this fundraiser.
