Remembering Yvette Yvette was full of life to the end, planning special touches for her own funeral and finding ways to make her friends feel special in her passing.  Always up for a practical joke, Yvette loved it when people found themselves in embarrassing situations - all the better if she had a hand in.  Yvette had lived at Elm for over 20 years and so many people know her so well. She left an indelible mark and her legacy will live on in all that she taught us. Yvette loved her friends, bawdy novels, musical movies, having her hair done to perfection and good jokes. She passed surrounding by people who cared deeply for her.

Our Thanks & Appreciation

Thank you to Women United, a philanthropic group that is part of United Way City of Kawartha Lakes . Women United made a donation to our Community Participation program in Kawartha Lakes so that we can buy new chairs. Thank you to the Rotary Club of Haliburton for donating $1,800 to Job Quest to purchase a new utility trailer. The Rotary also donated the first Job Quest trailer in Haliburton 10 years ago. Thank you to Clay and Amy Glecoff of Glecoff's Family Store for giving Team Ontario (Red Wolves 5-pin bowling team) matching scarves and mittens to keep them snuggly warm in Thunder Bay at the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games.
