High School Hang Out : This Sunday the 11th at the Wiest house from 6:30-8:30 pm. All students in grades 9-12 are welcome. Remember to bring a snack or drink to share, and any board games you want to play! The address is: 366 Timber Ridge Road, Morgantown, PA 19543.

Thanksgiving Giving:  On Sunday, November 18 there will be a little time during the service where families can make donations to one or more of the following: Chester County Women’s Services, the Hope Rescue Mission, Twin Valley Food Pantry, and Fusion’s Thanksgiving Giving. Bags for those donations with more instructions were given out Sunday, November 4. If you were not able to get one, please contact the church office to see if we have more.

Second, Fusion will have their annual Thanksgiving Giving outreach on Tuesday, November 20, from 6-9pm. What is Thanksgiving Giving ? It is an outreach where Fusion students work together to provide a Thanksgiving meal for families in our community who are in need. Middle school students do that by bringing fruit with them that will go towards making a fruit basket for each family. The middle school students then work together to build those baskets.

While they are doing that, high school students serve by bringing $5, $10, $20 or however much they would like to be donated for purchasing the meal items. High school students then travel with adults from Hopewell to Walmart to purchase those meal items. Because of the generosity of our families in the past we have also been able to purchase a few staple items for the families (i.e. condiments, cereal etc.). Finally, adults and high school students travel to the homes of families to drop off the meal, share the gospel and pray with them.

Parenting Today's Teens

“The Parental Gift of Presence"

As moms and dads, we want to give our children everything. We want our kids to have more, do more and experience more than we did. And so we work hard, put in crazy hours, and volunteer for every opportunity in order to provide the best for our children.

But do you want to know the greatest gift you can give your teen? It’s...

This Wednesday: The more I learn about Paul, the more I think he was either one of those guys people loved to be around, or couldn’t stand to be around. Why? Because Paul learned some things that most people either haven’t learned or refuse to learn. That is to rejoice in any circumstance and to be content with whatever he had. From what we can gather from Paul’s letters, he had true joy. It really is a simple truth that helped him have that joy in any and all circumstances. That will be the focus of this week's study in Philippians.

Next Wednesday: We finish up our series on the book of Philippians by taking a look at Philippians 4:10-23. We hope your students will join us for the conclusion of our series on this incredible book.
The next High School Hang Out will be Sunday, November 11th from 6:30-8:30 at the Wiests' house. Remember to bring a snack or drink to share, and any board games you want to play! The address is: 366 Timber Ridge Road, Morgantown, PA 19543.
High school students are invited to join us at beautiful Cove Valley Christian Camp on Nov. 16-18 for a weekend of worship, great messages and a chance to connect with God. Our speaker for the weekend is Keith Humes and the messages will center on this year’s theme “ Ships, As In Relationships .” Worship will once again be led by members of Salt N Light Youth Ministry.
