Sunday Mornings
You need good fuel for your heart, mind, and soul. On Sunday mornings we go to the best stories in the Bible, the best works of literature, and the best films to see what God has done for us. Hot bagels at 9:15 a.m. is just the start, for we cannot live by bread alone!

Sunday Night Fellowship
Middle School and High School can be grand. But they are also rough. Each week we gather to blow off some steam, reconnect with God and each other, and recharge for the coming week. Some nights are serious, some nights aren't. Either way, you'll find just what you need most: fellowship with God and friends.

Hi Friends,

Happy season of beautiful fall leaf color. Take them in - such beauty surrounds. "I Believe" was so very powerful at last Sunday's interfaith prayer service.  I have no words, except to say these are the moments when gathering together to sing in affirmation feels SO right.

"I believe in the sun even when it is not shining.
I believe in love even when I don't feel it.
I believe in God even when God is silent."
child's poem found at the concentration camp at Terezin

Regular Sunday evening rehearsals, this Sunday, November 3 - YAY!  I'm really looking forward to being together.
  • Cantorei will join the Adult Choir on November 18 at 11 a.m. with Mendelssohn's "Above all Praise", and we are preparing for our Christmas Eve 7 p.m. service as well.  Lot's of music to prepare!
  • Middle School Choir has many instrumental and vocal parts to learn for our Christmas Pageant (December 16, 4 p.m.). All Middle School Choir singers are needed for our pageant!  In addition, our treble middle school voices will sing with Choir 3-4-5 and our Adult Choir on Sunday,  December 9, at  9:15 & 11 a.m.  We will share the "Gloria" from John Rutter's MASS OF THE CHILDREN at those services.  Full mass with orchestra will be prepared for evening concert on March 2, 2019 at 5 p.m.
Thank you for your time and effort to do this important work together.  It is very meaningful to our community to see and hear you sing in Worship, and you are wonderful leaders.  I am grateful for each one of you.

Blessings,
Ingrid
