Provider Spotlight
Thomas Jazwiecki,
Dentist

Dentistry has been a perfect hybrid of everything I was looking for in a career. It requires a high level of knowledge, critical thinking, and social function. It takes creative, analytic, and intuitive components, and blends them with clinical skill and artistic abilities. It is detail-oriented, scientific, well-respected, and produces tangible results. While it may seem monotonous, every day, every tooth, every procedure, and every patient is different. It can be every bit as rewarding as it can be humbling, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Reaching Out and Lifting Up during National Recovery Month
This year’s theme for National Recovery Month, “Join the Voices for Recovery: Invest in Health, Home, Purpose and Community,” is an excellent description of what we strive to do every day at the Kenosha Community Health Center (KCHC).

The entire team at KCHC believes in investing in the Kenosha community by providing comprehensive care to its residents.
Seal-A-Smile is a preventive dental sealant program for children in the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades offered by the Kenosha Community Health Center in partnership with the Children’s Health Alliance of WI. A dental sealant is a thin, plastic coating painted on the chewing surfaces of teeth (usually the back teeth) to prevent tooth decay.

Seal-A-Smile services include:

  • An assessment to determine if sealants can be placed
  • Sealants if appropriate
  • Fluoride treatment

Flu Shots

With a new flu season fast approaching, health officials are reminding people of the toll last year’s season took on Wisconsin residents, and encouraging everyone to get a flu shot to protect their families, communities, and themselves.
