Remember to Change your Clocks
or risk being early to church, oh no!
This Sunday we celebrate the Feast of All Saints & Holy Baptism
At the
10:00am service, we will baptize two amazing little boys:
Padraig Crimmins, younger brother of Fionn and Deaglan, and son of Casey and Conor Crimmins, and Theodore "Teddy" Vasiliadis, younger brother of Costas, and son of Anne and Mike Vasiliadis. Come welcome them into the community of Christ Church and the household of God!
At all the services, we will honor our departed loved ones.
When you come in, there will be cards available at the back of the church. Take a card or cards and write their names on it. Then hang them up in the sanctuary - so that we will be surrounded by some of the beloved communion of saints.
Stay for coffee, refreshments and forum with parishioner Marco Beltran
after the 10:00am service. Dr. Beltran will tell us about his extraordinary life story and his work with children and families at the National Office of Head Start.
Thank you to the Chaponda family!
(Taz, Armelia, Limbani, Yamicani and Mwai) for their wonderful presentation last week about their experiences in Malawi not only with their family but also helping address the basic needs of children and youth. We look forward to hearing updates about the computer technology center and others efforts.

Thanksgiving Dinner for
Arcola Elementary Families!
Thank you to everyone who is supporting a family this year! Your help is very much appreciated!
For those of you still thinking about helping, simply select a family 'critter' from the display - there are a few left - and donate the items on the list for that family. Bring the food to church, and put it in the last classroom on the upstairs hallway near the Choir Room.
All donations must be at CC by Sunday, Nov 18th in order to have them ready for pickup on the 19th. A $25 Safeway or Giant gift card will be given to each family so they may purchase the meat/specialty foods of their choice. Thank you for caring and sharing - Virginia Sheard, Outreach Com. 301-949-3372 or
