  • Loose material such as leaves, twigs, grass clippings must be placed in paper bags as required by the Charleston County Landfill.
  • Yard Debris is collected on Thursdays island wide and must be placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. to ensure collection. In addition, Carolina Waste will not rake or clean areas where debris is placed.
  • Material from a property owner's home must only be placed at the curb of your property.
  •  It is illegal to place debris on an empty or undeveloped lot. Violators are subject to be fined.
