We all look at life through our own lens

As we send our children off to kindergarten or college there always seems to be a cry for Brownies at the end of the day.  These rich yummy bars that seem to possess such magic.
So pack them up and send them off or have them waiting at home. This simple snack seem to be a bond that lasts forever.
                                                   Until Next Time....

Brownies

I got the call from college.

My son's voice in my ear.

"Mom, will you send me brownies?"

"Of course, I will, my dear."

What's the magic of these brownies?

They are so easy to fix.

I just add chocolate drops

And then I stand and mix.

I mix along with those drops

Just a few more things.

Hugs and kisses I do add

Just to give him wings.

Wings to overcome

Just what he has to face.

Brownies, yes, but lots of love

To get him back on pace.

So I'll stir and mix my brownies

To lend my son a hand.
.
To help him grow up to be

A strong and able man.
