Gene17's River Flow Newsletter
Autumn is certainly now here, a time for summer's delayed matters to finally get some attention. Some of you may of noticed for a prolonged period of time we have suffered some admin inefficiency. The cause of these delays has now permanently abated, and soon our intray is set to return to a more manageable level. We apologise if you had been disapponted by this. Soon we are set for more time on the river, and have some new projects to attend to as a result. More specific news at a future date.
Currently Simon is in Slovenia to turn around logistics from the summer as well as run a late season River Leader Training course. Plus next week at PaddleExpo, he'll meet up with Jakub who just returned from a great paddling mission in Tajikistan. Chris is almost ready to complete a major milestone in his Doctorate programme, whilst Deb is back at West Highland Uni, plus Rowan has been enjoying a long summer in Norway and Slovenia. Autumn and winter projects have been set, with paddling adventures for some, research projects for others and time to reflect on the season's events for all.
Later next month our UK season kicks off down in Devon, with rain in the forecast and our drysuits are at the ready!
