Towne Square redesign 
Share your feedback at November 8 meeting or online
We're looking for your feedback on a second round of design concepts for Towne Square which is a small but unique public space located at 210 Lakeshore Road in downtown Oakville.

Join us for a public meeting on November 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall where the town's design consultants will present two new design concepts for Towne Square - a hybrid option that incorporates features from the four concepts presented in the summer and a facelift option that is an enhanced version of the existing design. 

You can also view the concepts online and submit comments until November 16.
Upcoming events and other information
Two-way street conversion  

As part of the Downtown Plan, we are converting all existing one-way streets in downtown Oakville to two-way streets. While this work is underway t he streets will be open to one-lane traffic and on-street parking will be temporarily removed. 
This project is expected to be complete by mid-November.
Fall loose leaf collection

Leaf collection is underway and will continue until November 30. Check the schedule to see when we will be in your area. To ensure you don't miss it, put your leaves out by 7 a.m. on the first day of collection and please ensure leaves are free of garbage or other yard waste materials such as brush, branches, large twigs or stones. 
Council business at Town Hall 

The next Council meeting takes place Monday,
November 5 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.  Join us at the meeting for the latest  Council updates and staff recommendations. You can also tune in to watch live coverage of the meeting on the town's  YouTube channel .
