Raven Report: Sept. 26, 2018
Help Needed to Prepare for Community Open House!

We have one week to prep for our Community Open House & Ribbon Cutting (on Wed., Oct. 3rd from 4-6 p.m.). If you are willing and able to help with any of the below tasks, please contact Amy Maas.
  • Painting: Bring your paint brushes and help us paint the new walls in the administrative offices.
  • Weeding, Shrub Trimming, & Basic Yard Clean-Up: Sunday 9/30 from 2-4 p.m. - ALL HANDS ON DECKThe Girls Scouts are hosting this clean-up, but we are in need of LOTS of able bodies (adults too). If you have a truck or vehicle to haul, or if you have trimmers, edgers, or such equipment, we could use them. Please contact Ellen Chindlund with questions and to RSVP.
  • Hanging Up Posters Around Town: We have posters for the event! Stop by the front desk if you'd like to hang posters up around town (we have lists), or pick-up a couple for your office or favorite community location.
  • Invite Your Friends & Colleagues: Even if they don't have kids, this is a great opportunity to invite the community members to see the renovations on Mercy's old fitness center (our current campus). Pick up a couple postcards, download the pdf here, or share/invite via our Facebook event!

Things to Know
Request for Auction Items for The Summit's Gala
The Summit's 14th Annual Gala will be held at the Darr Agricultural Center (same great location as last year).

This year's Annual Auction & Gala is a 1990s style party complete with games, music, appetizers, raffles, and silent and live auctions. Guests can show off their fly moves while gettin' jiggy with it, enjoy free wine and beer, or try their luck at the gaming tables. This party is going be all that and a bag of chips!

Tickets for this great event are only $100/person (just like last year).

Would you or your business like to donate an item to our annual auction? Auction items should be turned in by Friday, October 5th.

Ways to Pay The Summit Growth Fund, 2018-2019
The 2018-2019 Summit Growth Fund has been set at $1,300 per student. This amount is set annually on September 1st  and is based on enrollment. There are many ways other than cash to pay off the Growth Fund.

Referring new students to The Summit and the Scrip Program are the most popular ways to earn credits. Referring new students also gets us closer to the enrollment milestone which will eliminate the Growth Fund. Contact Amy Maas, Summit Admissions Officer, to refer a new family. Contact Phil Isley, Summit Scrip Coordinator, for more information about Scrip.

For other ways to earn Growth Fund credits please contact Kristin Walker, Summit Finance & Operations Officer.
