Hate Crime and Hate Speech Awareness Workshop
Hosted by the Sociology Club and the Interfaith Dialogue Club, this workshop is on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 2:30 p.m. in Building 1400, Room 1421.
Seventh Edition of LiveWire Released
The Humanities Division released the seventh edition of the student-run literary arts publication
LiveWire. The new issue features four poems, six prose pieces, and two pieces of visual art by current and former students as well as members of the surrounding community.

Associated Students Accepting Nominations for 2020 Faculty of the Year
Every year, Fullerton College honors its best full-time and part-time faculty members. Students may nominate any faculty member they have previously completed coursework with.

Gabriel Gonzalez dreams of becoming a successful photographer - but that wasn't always the case. After serving as an aircraft structural mechanic in the United States Air Force from 2012 - 2015, Gonzalez of Anaheim, began attending his first semester at Fullerton College in the fall of 2017 unsure of what career and major he would pursue. Accounting Society Students Clean Up Beach
Fullerton College's Accounting Society isn't just about helping students prepare for successful careers, the group also gives back and helps local communities through volunteer service work. Recently, members of the Accounting Society members connected with the well-known Surfrider Foundation, which is a nonprofit that helps organize beach clean ups throughout the year.

Save the Date: LGBTQ+ Summit
Faculty and staff are invited to the LGBTQ+ Summit on Friday, Nov. 22 in Room 224 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In collaboration with the Queer Straight Alliance and the Cadena Cultural Center and Student Services, the Summit will explore opportunities to strengthen resources, intentionally design student leadership development, and engage one another to develop collective goals with shared responsibility for LGBTQ+ students.

Men's Soccer
After suffering two consecutive losses with only one goal scored, the team exploded with an 8-0 victory over visiting Santiago Canyon College on Friday. Up Next: Fullerton gets back at it on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 3 p.m. when they travel to district rival Cypress College.
Women's Soccer
The team took a 2-0 hard loss on Friday against a tough Santiago Canyon College team. Up Next: The Hornets will host Cypress College today at 3 p.m.
Football
The Hornets played their final home game on Saturday against El Camino College and forced a conference title game dismantling the Warriors 33-7. The stage is set for Fullerton and Mount San Antonio College to battle it out for the Central Conference title. Up Next: The Central Conference Championship game. The Hornets play Mount San Antonio College at Covina District field on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m.
Women's Volleyball
Fullerton suffered their second loss in a row on Friday falling at home to Riverside City College 3-1 . Up Next: FC is battling for a playoff spot when they host Saddleback College on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m.
Women's Water Polo
For the second consecutive season, the Hornets won the Orange Empire Conference after defeating Riverside City College 10-9 on Saturday at the tournament hosted by Golden West College. It was the fourth time that the Tigers and Hornets battled this season with Fullerton winning three out of four games. Up Next: The Southern California Regionals at Riverside City College November 14-16.
Women's Golf
The Hornets will be sending one golfer to the State Tournament at Morro Bay next week in Geri De Ville. De Ville had a strong showing in the SoCal Regionals at Via Verde over the weekend. On Sunday, Geri shot 79 and on Monday 86 to qualify for state. Up Next: The CCCAA State Tournament at Morro Bay November 17-18.
Men's Water Polo
The Hornets ended their season at the Orange Empire Conference Tournament. In the opening game on Thursday, Fullerton took on Saddleback College and lost 12-6. On Saturday, FC played their final game and beat Cypress College 15-7 to end the season on the positive side.
Men's Cross Country
Ian Rusk and Mauro Rosales qualified for the CCCAA State Championships in Fresno on Nov. 23. Rusk ran 22:03 and Rosales 22:07. As a team, the Hornets finished 17th out of 26 total teams.
Men's Basketball
Fullerton took care of business on Saturday night defeating Grossmont College 101-55. FC has now won 3 games in a row by double-digits to start the season. Up Next: The Hornets travel to El Camino College on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 5 p.m.
Women's Basketball
FC pulled off a nice win at El Camino College last Friday beating the Warriors 63-47. Up Next: Fullerton will play at the Skyline College Tournament November 15-17.

Presence
Runs until Dec. 2, Art Gallery
Presence explores the meanings of the word, including "a person or thing that exists or is present in a place but is not seen", "a group of people, stationed in a particular place", as well as "a noteworthy quality of poise and effectiveness." Co-curated by collector Dee Kerrison and gallery director Carol Henke, Presence shares the work of artists addressing these concepts, including Patrick Martinez, Gabriella Sanchez, Calida Garcia Rawles, and Diedrick Brackens and more.
