This week we're presenting Vermont Arts Council, Guild of Boston Artists, and Chazan Gallery at Wheeler with exhibitions featuring the work of seasoned, prestigious artists. There are also other interesting and exciting events happening soon for those who want more.

Artspace Maynard will be holding their 17th Annual Open Studios in conjunction with the Artspace Artists Group Show on September 29⎻30 from 12:00 p.m.⎻5:00 p.m. Come see the work of over 80 artists and view their work outside of the conventional gallery experience!

The Arts League of Rhode Island's VETS Gallery will be featuring "Parsing Sign and Image" beginning Thursday, September 27. This exhibition, examining the connection between text and art, is juried by Artscope's own Kaveh Mojabai. There will be a reception on September 27 from 5:30 p.m.⎻8:00 p.m. open to the public, so don't hesitate to drop by!

Coming soon is "Beyond the Pedestal: Isamu Noguchi and the Borders of Sculpture," an exhibition on view at Portland Museum of Art from October 5, 2018 through January 6, 2019. This exhibition, sponsored by Artscope, explores the bold and challenging sculptures of Japanese-American sculptor Isamu Noguchi. Be sure to give it a look!
