Ideal for front-line staff, staff who facilitate workshops or presentations, others who interact with participants in a group capacity, or administrators who supervise those staff. Staff from any sector welcome, including workforce development, parent education, legal aid, healthcare or others.

About the trainer:
Melanie Sampson is the Content Director of Clear Language Lab at Literacy Works. She has over 15 years of experience in adult education in Chicago, including teaching, volunteer management, and program administration. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in linguistics from
Northeastern Illinois University. She has also studied plain language practices at Simon Fraser University.
