PARTNER CORNER
Stanford Health Care Community Talks
Stanford Health Library's staff has worked with Redwood City Public Library for many years to offer selected Community Talks and a network of referral to medical information for the public. With the opening of the Redwood City clinic location of Stanford Health Care , we are pleased to continue this relationship.

Darla Watanabe, of Cancer Supportive Care Program, works with the library, because, " Stanford Health Care dedicates significant resources to support its community programs. Our community programs range from ensuring health care access to the elderly and indigent patients to being actively involved in a wide range of community service programs to improve the health status of the community."

Recent programs that demonstrate the importance of this commitment have been Beyond Stress and Anxiety with Dr. Juarez-Reyes and Love and Intimacy with Cancer through Diagnosis, Treatment, and Survivorship.
Stanford's Community Talks often offer evidence-based medical information on new therapeutic developments and discuss complementary and alternative treatment approaches, that community members are looking for.
