What did you want to be when you grew up? How many American kids dream of living in and sharing Jesus in Africa when they grow up? Well, four of them are now doing exactly that. Katherine, Melanie, Elizabeth and Laura all had that dream as young girls and are now living that dream. God is using them to reach the village of Kamonkoli for Him.
Katherine continues at the forefront of the ministry, providing prayerful vision, leadership and passion. She has raised many successful young men and women in the orphanage, some who now work for the ministry while others work in ministry and other professional positions throughout the country.

Laura and Elizabeth have been with us since last summer and have developed a wonderful Jump Start program for struggling transfer students at Genesis, many who come from very low performing schools and often have to repeat grades. Teachers are already noticing the huge difference
that the class has made for these kids. Thes
e young ladies are also working to role model and teach varied teaching methods to the teachers to provide an exceptional learning environment for over 250 students.

Melanie, Laura and Elizabeth are currently living in a rented home near our offices. Though the compound is reasonably safe, we would prefer to have them on our HUM compound with the orphanage homes, Genesis School and Clinic. Our compound also offers clean water and generator access. They currently haul water and have limited options during the frequent public power outages. They enjoy inviting kids over for play time many days.
Thank you to all those who offer faithful financial support and prayers for these young ladies to minister with us and to so many who have contributed to helping us with our goal to build a home for them on our secure compound. We have raised a
good portion of the funds needed and would like to make one more push to get it all in and begin construction on the home this fall. We ask that you prayerfully consider how you might help us care for these young ladies who are obediently following God's calling to serve him on the other side of the world.
