God calls us to open the door, make room at the table, and create spaces
to foster lasting relationships with Jesus Christ.

John 4:5-42
"Arguing with Jesus" by Paul B. Thompson

Both the 8:30 and 10:30 services will be streamed live on Facebook this Sunday. Make sure you "like" our Facebook page to get the notifications.

The Trustees have secured Piedmont Security Systems to upgrade our primary entrance doors with a new security feature. By Sunday, March 22nd (at the latest) the following doors will be secured and will require an access code or key card to enter:

* Main entrance door
* Fellowship Hall door
* Education Entrance door
* Food pantry door

These changes will not affect those who primarily enter our building on Sunday mornings. The doors will be unlocked, as usual, during normal Sunday morning hours. If you are coming to the church midweek during normal business hours, you will have to ring a doorbell and have Tabitha unlock the door for you to enter. If you are a Committee Chairperson or the primary contact for a group that uses the building during the week, you will be given an access code (or key card) to enter the building during your normally scheduled time.

While we understand that adding this feature may cause some  inconvenience (especially in the beginning as we work out some kinks), we trust that everyone will recognize that it is for the general safety of all that use our building during any given week. Should you have any questions about any of these changes or how it might impact your particular group, please contact Rod Arters at rod@huntersvilleumc.org or 803-622-6408. He will be in touch with current key holders to provide instruction and  training on how to use the new security feature.
