NEW: Forfeit Request Reminder - Must be Submitted Within Ten Days forfeit

An NAIA institution may find itself an "offended party" when competing against another school which opts to forfeit the competition. Per NAC policy, the athletics director or FAR of the offended party institution must administratively file the forfeit request with legislative services within ten days for the forfeit to be awarded. When filing, a copy of the game contract must accompany the request.

If the deadline is missed, the offended school can file an appeal with the NAC. However, appeals are routinely denied if rationale is members being unaware of policy.
