PARKING on FRIDAY (and every day :))
Cardinal Newman IS in session on Friday. St. Rose parents, PLEASE be mindful of NOT parking in CN parking lots reserved for CN students & faculty or in the St. Rose faculty lot. Parking is available across the street at Trione Fields.
The St. Rose traffic circle will be a no parking zone on Friday during the walk-a-thon.
There is NO parking along any FIRE lane. Your car could be towed.
DISMISSAL Every Day
The Cardinal Newman HS and St. Rose Administrations would like to remind ALL our parents to please be respectful and mindful of the following at the end of each school day:

1.  St. Rose parents of 1st-8th grade students should not be lined up in the lot or parked in the traffic circle before 2:45PM. The only cars that should be in the  traffic circle at 2:20pm are Kindergarten parents picking up at 2:30pm.
2. St. Rose parents should not be lined up in the parking lot until after 2:40PM, after SR Kindergarten & CN dismissal. It is best for those picking up 1st-8th grade students to NOT arrive on campus until after 2:45pm.
3 . St. Rose parents should not impede the flow of traffic between 2:15 - 2:45pm
4. NO ONE should ever block someone from exiting a parking space. You MUST leave your place in line to allow a parked car to exit.
5. At the end of every SR school day, some of our brave faculty and staff are out there to ensure the safety of all our students. Please be kind to them if they ask you to stop your car, wait, or move.

PLEASE, share this with ALL those adults in your family who come onto our busy campus to pick up your child(ren).  A gentle reminder to ALL, that this is a busy SCHOOL campus, where the speed limit is SLOW, patience needs to be practiced, and the safety of ALL students, Preschool - 12th grade is our #1 priority.
Let's be KIND & SAFE out there!
Thank You for your cooperation.

REMINDER - CHANGE TO SCHEDULE /    FINAL AUDITIONS for ANNIE
are THIS FRIDAY  3-5pm
Annie Registration packets are DUE to  Gloria Verse on Friday
A Note from Mrs. Ryan
Dear Parents,

Our Walk-a-Thon is happening this Friday and it promises to be great fun for everyone. This year, our Parent Association is providing a hamburger lunch for our students since they are usually tired and hungry after the exertion they put into the event. Many of our students complete fifteen or more laps and some do as many as fifty. Friday is a 12:30 dismissal day. Although we will be sending home tired children that day, at least they won't be hungry.

The Walk-a-Thon and the Crab Feed are the two most important fundraisers our Parent Association organizes each year. The profits help to augment the school's operating costs and help us keep tuition increases in check. These funds are also used to provide instructional enhancements, particularly in the area of technology. Every family agrees to support the two main fundraisers as part of the tuition contract. Our goal for this Walk-a-Thon challenges every child to raise $130 or more.

On Friday, the Parent Association will be providing each student with a complimentary t-shirt and lunch. It is essential that every family participate by turning in a pledge form with at least one pledge or use the online method of obtaining pledges. There are a number of fun rewards for your children if we get 100% participation. Pledges are due on Friday for prizes, and late pledges are gladly accepted.
