Student Cell Phone Use

Just a reminder about student cell phone use during the school day. Cell phones (and other communication devices, such as wi-fi enabled watches) are not for use during the school day (from 8 a.m. until end of dismissal) for any purpose, and specifically not for communication to parents, other students, friends, or anyone else. All such devices should be turned off and should be kept in a locker throughout the defined school day. The only exception to this is if a teacher directs students to use the camera, timer, or other feature for classroom purposes. If communication is required, the student may ask permission to use classroom or office phones.

Please help your child(ren) understand this rule. Violation of this policy will result in confiscation of the device and communication with parents. Continuing violation of this policy will be responded to by Administration. Thank you for your assistance.
