It's been an exciting couple of months in Canada West Women's Field Hockey! With the University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria all tied up at 15 points a piece after the final weekend of regular season play, the Vikes were named the 2018 Canada West Champions based on goal differential.
The University of Victoria Vikes will travel to Waterloo, Ontario to face the York Lions in a best of three series from November 2-4, 2018. The winning team will be named the U SPORTS National Champions.
Vikes defender, Anna Mollenhauer, has been named the Canada West Player of the Year. The Victoria native is in her second year with the Vikes and is a part of the Field Hockey Canada Junior Development Squad.
