The library is open for in-person browsing and checkout of items. We continue to take precautions to keep the health and safety of library users and staff as our paramount concern by following guidelines and recommendations from a variety of trusted sources.
Visitors are asked to maintain social distancing and to wear a mask when visiting. Please, if you are feeling ill we ask that you stay home.
Not all library services are currently available. As we work towards gradually phasing services back in, please call or check the library's website to see if a particular service is available.
And, while we appreciate your thinking us us, we are NOT accepting donated items at this time.

The fall lineup will look a bit different, but we promise to make it entertaining and interactive for children, teens, and adults with a mix of in-house, virtual, Take and Make crafts, Challenges, STEAM Toolkits and Trivia! SPOTLIGHT ON MAKING
Even though our fantastic new makerspace isn't quite ready for prime time, we've been working hard learning our new equipment and exploring all things maker. Until we're ready to open The Forge, each month we'll be sharing some projects that you can do at home with things you have lying around your house. Check out our Forge website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel for video instructions!
Projects Coming Soon:
September: Inspired by none other than Albert Einstein, we'll be learning how to make a homopolar motor using magnets.
October: Did you know that Mr. Rogers' (yes, THE Fred Rogers!) mother hand knit all of his cardigans? While we won't be knitting, October will have a textile arts theme. Join our Makerspace Manager, Mary Frances, as she teaches us how to make a simple loom for weaving.
