Library building closures
Following government advice on COVID19, all our libraries are closed until further notice.

Whilst library buildings are closed:

  • No fines will be charged during the closure period
  • All reservations on physical items have been suspended
  • You can contact the library via email
  • You can continue to renew books online
  • Council Customer Services will be available to answer your calls from 9am-4pm Monday to Friday on 01628 683800.

Even though our buildings are closed, there is a huge range of resources that you can access online for free, and over the coming weeks we will be working on innovative ways of delivering our services online and through social media.

Below are some of the incredible online services you can already access using your library card, and details of some of the new services we are providing.
