PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:

+ "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever."
{Psalm 136:1}

+ Pray for our mission partner, The Encouraging Place, as they set up the Pride For Parents Christmas Store, allowing parents to purchase affordable Christmas gifts for their children. Pray that these families will see the love of Christ as they come to the store.

+ Pray for our church during the season of Advent, that we would prepare room in our hearts for Jesus to take up residence and transform us more into his likeness.

Abiding Prayer ~ November 28
Abiding Prayer is a wonderful time to rest in the Lord and receive from Him. We are called to minister out of the overflow ... have you filled your lamp with oil?   Jesus is faithful to meet us!

We invite any who would like to assist in decorating the church for Christmas to join us on  Saturday, December 1 between 9:00am and 12:30pm. This is a fun, easy way to serve and fellowship where no previous experience is required. The simple instructions and supplies are ready when you arrive, and help as long as you have time.
Questions? Mary Amundsen { ramundsen@aol.com }.

The evening will begin with a potluck dinner at 5:30 in the fellowship hall, followed by a time of prayer and praise in the sanctuary at 6:30.

FINANCIAL UPDATE

Unlike many churches and ministry organizations, Church of the Apostles has never  operated its general budget based on pledges. The $1,695,050 operating budget established for this year is based on prayer, guidance from historical experience, and the wisdom of our
Finance Team and Leadership Council. Praise God for the wisdom He gives our leadership and for members who continue to give sacrificially and consistently.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Please bring a goodie you'd like to donate, labeling the contents. All baked goods can be dropped of the day of the sale. Buy a goodie: The bake sale will be open after both the 8:30 and 11:00 services. Consider grabbing a treat for a friend, neighbor or Christmas gift! Proceeds will go toward scholarships for the Women's Retreat in March.
