Sunday, November 25, 3-5 pm - Dandelion Meadow presents a Holiday Concert & Silent Auction benefiting Safe Haven Recovery for Women.  Event will take place at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church and will feature local pianist Andrew Kozak.   Please see flyer below for further details on this event.

Monday, November 26, 6 pm - Tree Lighting at Salamander!  
Excitement builds and choirs sing in anticipation for Santa's arrival to light up the resort's Christmas tree. Join us for our annual celebration with cookies, hot cocoa, mulled cider and to have your photo taken with Santa.

Monday, November 26, 4-5 pm - New Classes Starting! Classes for Back Pain and Osteoporosis Relief Middleburg Community Center . Classes are on going. This Sara Meeks, PT inspired exercise program is appropriate for adults of all ages and abilities. $80 for an 8 week session.

Friday, November 30 - Annual Tree Lighting at the Pink Box!
The Piedmont Singers will be leading the caroling  at our annual Tree Lighting at the Pink Box on Nov 30th  and also singing the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah with chamber orchestra  at Emmanuel Episcopal Church ( 105 E. Washington St.)

4 pm - The Middleburg Music Fest International is presenting internationally acclaimed pianists Nikita Fitenko and Katerina Zaitseva in an exciting piano recital in the stunning Barrel Room at Greenhill Winery. The recital includes compositions by Brahms, Grieg, Dvorak, Liszt, Mussorgsky and Barber. The event will include a wine and lite bite reception after the performance.

Brunch with Santa @ Salamander - 
December 1, 8, 15 & 22, 10 am - 3 pm, $55 per person / $30 per child
Visit with Santa and his elves while enjoying a delicious brunch in our winter wonderland. Our ballroom transforms into Santa's workshop where you'll enjoy a brunch featuring sweet and savory favorites, a make-your-own holiday keepsake designing station, as well as a photo opportunity with Santa Claus himself.

Saturday, December 1 - The Byrne Gallery presents - Middleburg Christmas Parade - Open House Un Voyage en France, oil on canvas paintings by Gerald Hennesy from his many painting trips to France!

Monday, December 3, 4-6 pm  - Middleburg Montessori Open House.  
Visit Middleburg Montessori for our winter Open House to tour the campus, talk with current teachers, students, and parents, and see our classrooms for children from birth through 15 years. Middleburg Montessori is a VAIS Accredited and AMI recognized non-profit school, providing Montessori education that has been fostering the creation of capable individuals for 37 years.

Sunday, December 9, 3 pm  -  On December 9 at 3 p.m., the At the Parish House series presents a celebration of Christmas music featuring the duo of Spencer & Beane at Emmanuel Church Middleburg. "A joyful union of six instruments, five languages and two voices," wrote one reviewer, and all in celebration of the Christmas season.

New Year's Eve Grand Salamander Party
December 31 l 9:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. l Living Room | $119 per person
Say farewell to 2018 and toast to 2019 with us for a jovial celebration. Our party will take over the living room with live music, dancing, all-you-can-enjoy hors d'oeuvres, an open Belvedere ice bar, and a complimentary Moët champagne toast at midnight. Must be 21 years of age.

Friday, February 22, 6-8 pm - Art of Piedmont, silent auction and reception, features nearly 30 selected local fine artists at the Middleburg Community Center, with hors d'oeuvres from Field & Main in Marshall and bar sponsored by Piedmont Fox Hounds to benefit Middleburg Montessori School. Voted "Best Art Event in Northern Virginia" by Virginia Living Magazine's Best of Virginia 2018 issue.
 
Middleburg Montessori School is a nonprofit organization welcoming children birth through 15 years into diverse learning communities, nurturing independence and a love of learning, and serving families from Fauquier, Loudoun, Clarke, and Frederick Counties. 50% of all art sales go to support scholarships at Middleburg Montessori School. ** NOTICE ON VDOT CROSSWALK REPAIRS **

VDOT will be repairing crosswalks on Washington Street the week of November 26 th. Work will be performed during nights (9 pm - 5 am) with a single lane closed on Washington Street (Rte. 50) and utilizing a flagging operation. Traffic on side streets adjacent to the closed lane will not be able to cross through the work zone but this should only affect one or two streets at a time. The work zones will be lighted, and there will be construction noises (jack hammers, equipment running, etc.) throughout the night so please give a heads up to your neighbors. 
Worked is planned to start on Monday, November 26th and be done by Thursday, November 29 th, weather permitting.
