A new ministry season is underway and we have 3 updates!

#1 - Consider Parent Cue Live
Instead of gathering at Carmel on Saturday, October 6 for Parent Summit, we have the opportunity to gather at Forest Hill Church to learn and laugh at  Parent Cue Live on Thursday, November 8 from 7:00 - 9:00pm . Enjoy discounted registration with a special Carmel code! Click here  for details.

#2 - NEW Date for Nonprofit Leadership Summit
Hurricane Florence forced us to reschedule our Saturday morning equipping for people currently serving or interested in a volunteer leadership capacity with a nonprofit from September 15 to November 3. Given the date change - registration has been reopened - so join us! Click  here for details.

#3 - Bob Goff is Coming to CARMEL March 13!
We're excited to welcome Bob Goff as our 2019 Life in Christ speaker! Bob is the  New York Times Best-Selling Author of  Love Does and  Everybody Always , as well as the founder of Love Does, a nonprofit human rights organization operating in Uganda, India, Iraq, Nepal, Afghanistan and Somalia.

On Wednesday, March 13 from 6:30 - 9:00pm, Bob will have us laughing, while he talks about our call to make disciples and challenges us to boldly live ABLE lives. Save the date! Registration will go live in January.

Disaster Response Update + Opportunities

Just 10 days ago, Hurricane Florence made landfall in the Carolinas. Today, rivers are still flooding and new evacuation orders have been issued.

Tomorrow morning our first response team from Carmel heads to Lumberton, NC to serve as part of the NC Baptist Disaster Response Team. Let's pray for their safety and for their work to shine the hope of Christ to all they encounter.

How is God calling you to respond to the needs in the Carolinas?

Generosity happens in a variety of ways!
These young members of the Carmel Family sold donuts, muffins,
and juice this past weekend and raised $89 for Carmel's Disaster Relief Fund.
Celebrating 10 years... but really 29!

This month marks 10 years of full time service by Leah Kilcoin as our Children's Associate. Leah began working in our WEE School ministry in 1989 and served several years in our Carmel Christian School ministry before becoming the part-time Children's Associate. Leah and Dennis have been married for 41 years.
