Christmas Tree Recycling Sites Open Dec. 26-Jan. 19
Two locations in La Vista
The City of La Vista will be once again offering free drop-off sites for Christmas trees at the following locations:
  • La Vista Soccer Complex parking lot (two blocks south of Harrison St. on 66th St.)
  • Kelly West Parking Lot (87th St. and Park View Blvd.)
Drop-off sites will be open December 26 to January 19.

All decorations, tinsel and plastic bags must be removed prior to disposal. The collected trees will be chipped into mulch, which is available to residents free of charge.

Registration is now open for La Vista's spring youth sports programs, including: baseball, softball, soccer and flag football!

Blue Blood Drive on January 17

Start off the new year by giving back! 

The La Vista Police Department is participating in the National Blue Blood Drive, presented by C.O.P.S. and the American Red Cross, TOMORROW Friday, January 17. Between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. that day you can donate blood at the police station.
