10th Annual Ardsley Cares Day!!!

Join us for our ANNUAL COMMUNITY DAY OF VOLUNTEERING. This year there are numerous, flexible volunteering opportunities to participate in, a raffle to win in, and the Ardsley FD will serve a pancake breakfast to hungry volunteers to kick-off the day at AHS at 830am. Can't wait to see everyone for the 10th ARDSLEY CARES DAY!!

Event Details: The day will begin with a pancake breakfast at the high school at 8:30am followed by breaking into your pre-chosen volunteer events. Some events will take place at the highschool and some will be offsite. Majority of onsite events will take place from 945-2pm. Offsite events will have special hours with the majority starting in the morning and early afternoon.  Don't worry if you can't stay the entire time - give the time you can and it will be more than appeciated! We will also have music, face painting and a raffle!!

Off-Site Volunteer Event Descriptions:

Andrus Children's Center: Have a fun-filled visit with children playing games, crafting and snacking. There will be a number of activities planned to make this experience awesome for this kids! - - WE NEED YOU!

Roaring Rocks: Join in on the fun at Concord Road painting rocks to beutify the school entrance - specific shift times: 9:15am and 10:15am

Green Thumb -Ardsley: A great day of gardening awaits you helping to make our town as green and landscaped as possible (participants must be over 11 yrs old) - 9am and 12:30 shifts are available

Coachman Homeless Shelter: EVENT IS FULL :)

Ardsley Clean-Up: Go around town cleaning up the parks and streets

Atria Woodlands: EVENT IS FULL :)

AMS Pond-Outdoor Clean-Up: Join in and make a difference at AMS; clean up an overgrown pond to make a new space for kids to enjoy outdoor learning (participants must be over 9yrs old) - 9am, 12pm and 3pm shifts are available

Ronald McDonald House: Join us in cooking and serving brunch on October 28th from 8am-1230pm

 

Ardsley High School Volunteer Event Descriptions:

Outdoor Sports Drive: Collect, sort and distribute gently used outdoor sports for children in need - - WE NEED YOU!

Animal Shelter Drive: EVENT IS FULL :)

Book Drive: EVENT IS FULL :)

Bagged Meals for the Homeless:  EVENT IS FULL :)

Clothing Drive: Collect, sort, and organize clothing for children and adults to be sent to local charities for people in need - -WE NEED YOU!

iCare Kits:  EVENT IS FULL :)

Speciality Clothes and Costume Drive: Collect, sort and organize specialtity clothes and costumes to be given to local charitable organizations

Non-Perishable and Toy Drive: Collect and sort non-perishable food for a local donation site and new toys for ToysforTots. Once a donation is given you give a raffle ticket

ACD RAFFLE!!!! 

This year we are putting on a raffle! All you have to do to get a ticket is bring 5 non-perishable food items or 1 new toy to the donation site at the high school and you'll be given a ticket. The winners will be announced at the end of the day and you don't need to be present to win! See some of the prizes below:
