Dear families,

Today is Maundy Thursday, the day we remember Jesus' Last Supper with his disciples. At Monday's Kids' Small Group, we read this story from the Gospel of John. We talked about how, in John's gospel, there is no bread and wine or words of institution instead Jesus washes the disciples' feet. He tells them, "I have given you an example. Just as I have done, you also must do" (13:15).

This Holy Week, think with your children why this act of foot washing is so important to Jesus.
What does it symbolize?
What is Jesus trying to teach his disciples and us?

Holy Week blessings,
