Grades 4-12:  Student Health Survey

Each year all students in Georgia are asked to participate in the Georgia Student Health Survey issued by the Georgia Department of Education. Gwinnett Online Campus will administer the survey this January. Detailed information about the surveys and copies of the survey questions for each grade level is available on the
Georgia Department of Education website  for parents to review.

All student responses are anonymous. Participation in the Health Survey is an important part of a school's Climate Rating issued by the state. We encourage all students to take part in the survey.
Grades 4-12: Winter Nest Study Site

While students are still on Winter Break, they are encouraged to visit the GOC website and explore the "
Winter Nest". This is a wonderful opportunity for students to preview new concepts they will study during second semester. While these resources are optional, they are content related and provide an opportunity for students to stay engaged in academics during the break.
20th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration

Gwinnett County Public Schools is excited once again to partner with The United Ebony Society of Gwinnett County, Inc. to host the 20th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on Monday, January 20 at Moore Middle School. The theme this year is "The time is always right to do what is right".

The celebration includes a parade, health fair, performances by students, and vendors.

This celebration will also highlight artwork created by Gwinnett County students.  GOC students who are interested in submitting artwork are encouraged to do so by Tuesday, January 14 to Ms. Gelderman in the Productivity Center.  Artists whose artwork is selected to represent their schools, will receive a certificate.
