Family Support Coordinator: Central Mass Area

The Family Support Coordinator is responsible for providing support to families that increases  their ability to find and obtain services for their children and families. The FSS will also help educate and empower families so that they can more effectively advocate for themselves. The FSS will implement family support efforts, along with PPAL staff, in partnership with individual families as well as community stakeholders.

This person  must  have experience that is gained by parenting or care giving a child or youth with emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs. This is a 40 hour per week position in the Worcester office.  Must have access to transportation and a driver's license. English-Spanish bilingual preferred.

Multicultural Outreach Specialist
20 hours/week position  and 30 hours/week position

Both in Boston Office

The Multicultural Outreach Specialist is a part time position based in the Boston office and is responsible for building relationships with community groups, families, and others to educate them about PPAL and other resources. They  will recruit families from diverse cultural backgrounds and help deliver trainings on a variety of topics to increase family knowledge and skills.  If you have great communication skills, excellent follow through, and are connected to a diverse community, we'd like to hear from you.

There are two positions available- a 20 hour a week position and a 30 hour per week position. Lived experience with diverse community a must. Bilingual preferred.
