Stewardship Scripture Reflection
The Epiphany of the Lord

“Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh." (Matthew 2:11)

The image of the Magi kneeling before the infant Jesus and opening their treasure chests for Him is an image that we should all try to follow each day. In gratitude for all that we have been given, we are called to generously share all of our gifts, not just the ones we pick and choose. God wants us to be generous with everything, but especially that one thing that means the most to us.

Are you curious when you hear Father Michael mention the Christian author Scott Hahn in his homilies, or do you want to know more about Bishop Robert Barron and his DVDs and books?

  Cokas has a library!

The Father Philip Ryan Parish Library on the second floor of the Parish Life Center is well stocked with books and DVDs…and you can access the collection and explore what we have online. Simply go to the COKAS web site and under the “Questions” dropdown menu, go to “Online Library,” and then click on the URL.

The Ryan Parish Library is open on Sundays during PSR, but is always available for individual use by getting a key from the parish secretary during business hours (9:00-2:00.) Self check-out is available, and books can be returned to the box outside the Parish Office.
So feed your soul and satisfy your curiosity - visit the Ryan Library.
