County joins state in reaffirming commitment to accepting refugees
County Executive Matt Meyer and Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki jointly signed letters to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo reaffirming both Wilmington and New Castle County are committed to accepting refugees wishing to resettle in America. Eco Plastic Products of DE turns plastic waste into park benches
Across New Castle County parks, you may notice different benches popping up. New plastic benches from Eco Plastic Products of Delaware are made from recycled plastic materials that would otherwise wind up in a landfill. One bench can divert 30,000 plastic shopping bags.
