Kirk French
Gresham and the Chamber lost a great friend and statesman this past week. Councilor Kirk French was not a stranger to anyone. He offered financial counsel to the Chamber for many years on a volunteer basis. He worked hard as a Council Member and made many decisions that opened doors for everyone to come live, work, and play in Gresham. Kirk will be missed by all but he left a positive mark on our city that will be with us for a long, long time.
Ed Chin, All About Adventure Excursions
Health and safety first at our Friday AM, April 23rd. We are taking this slow and safe.  WE WILL NOT BE PASSING THE MIC. Ed Chin, All About Adventure Excursions, is showing us what NOT to do at Metro East Web Academy’s Friday AM. Register for the AM. Come with a mask. Stay 6 feet apart. Let’s practice being together in a community meeting setting and follow the guidelines.
Historic Downtown Gresham Business Association Spring Flower Sponsorship
Flower baskets can adorn Main Street in Downtown Gresham again with a little help from us. The flower baskets are not in the Gresham City Hall budget but they might be in yours. Contact Kayla Brown at the Historic Downtown Gresham Business Association to find out how you can purchase a basket and have it watered all summer. Bring sunshine to our Main Street.
CHAMBER BUCKS
Another way to Help Each Other.
Without asking, you know of at least one local business that needs help. You will benefit from getting them much needed help.

Here’s how:   Receive $50.00 Chamber Bucks for April and May new member referrals. Reach out to a business, have them join the chamber and you will receive $50.00 in Chamber Bucks. For any referral you bring in who joins as a new member in April and May you will receive $50.00 in Chamber Bucks (double the normal amount).

Now is the time to help a friend. Now is the time to introduce a favorite business to the many remarkable things the Gresham Area Chamber does for it’s members.
This program will not be extended. It starts April 1st and ends midnight May 31st.
It is a “two-fer”. You will benefit with $50.00 Chamber Bucks and the new member will be part of a successful organization. If you have any questions, contact Angela or Liz.

Got a bad odor you can't get rid of?
  • Start by opening windows and doors to air out the area.
  • Take down blinds and curtains and get professionally cleaned.
  • Research how to wash your household items, call a professional if the cleaning is too much or time consuming.
  • If you suspect it could be an animal or rodent that has passed in a wall, call your local restoration company to bring the tools that can try to help.
