Screening of "An Existential Date"
(A Demitasse Movie)

“Laughter without a tinge of philosophy is but a sneeze of humor. Genuine humor is replete with wisdom”
— Mark Twain

We are in the final phase of editing our first psychotronic movie, “An Existential Date” which was recently shot on location at the Wolf and Warrior Brewery Restaurant in White Plains. We will be hosting a private screening by invitation of the movie to be held at the Wolf and Warrior Brewery on Monday June 14, at 7:00 PM. A special thanks again, to Michael and Jelena Chiltern for hosting this event, and being such dedicated supporters of our mission. This screening will also be a fundraiser for mental health awareness. The screening will also include performances by the Demitasse Players band, along with presentations, and a greet and meet with the cast.

An Existential Date, is my first screenplay and comedy, about two middle-age college philosophy professors who meet for their first date, at an existential café located near the college campus. This movie combines existentialism and a bit of gallows humor, to remove a few false perceptions about professors, and to illustrate how seductive philosophical conversations can be and quite the aphrodisiac!

I will now direct you the following link to my interview with John Baily discussing the making of the movie. I have also included the link to my new existential song, “Rhythm and Rain,” performed by the Demitasse Players band, featuring the arrangement and performance by Jim Nowak and Dean Snellback.

"Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine"
