Begin your shopping experience in Hyde & Jackson Squares and brag about purchasing items here. Take the Mayor's challenge and purchase 5 items or more and show them off at #5onMain.

Look out for our December newsletters with the Jueves in the 'Hood promotional flier at one our your favorite merchants.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Another Great Community Improvement Work Day

The interest of our community work days continues to grow! On Saturday, October 24 fifty-one volunteers pulled weeds from tree pits along Centre Street, spread fresh mulch on 90 of them, cleaned trash from our streets and sidewalks, and planted 250 daffodil bulbs in Jackson Square and General Heath Square on Heath Street. We provided the snacks, trash bags, and tools and volunteers provided the motivation and sweat to accomplish the work. The speed and brawn of the volunteers was so incredible that the bulk of this work was completed in just 2 hours!

Not only does mulching and bulb planting make Hyde & Jackson Squares smell fresh and look great for the spring when the flowers come up, but it provides comfort to residents, shoppers, and visitors alike.

Thank you to all that helped out. Our next community work day will be the 3rd or 4th Saturday in April. Mark your calendars!
