Thirty-five Fisher College of Business Executive MBA students visited ForRunner medical device, Continental and SPD-Silicon Valley Bank in Shanghai. On November 6, the group visited ForRunner, one of many start-up companies founded by Ohio State alumnus Jay Qin (91, MS). Jay shared his personal entrepreneurial stories and answered students' questions about China's healthcare market. Later in the afternoon, the group met with Scott Bergquist, chief credit officer at SPD-Silicon Valley Bank, the first joint venture bank in China. The group visited Continental and met with two Ohio State alumni Song Qi (99, MBA), head of Continental China and Yi Liu (91, PhD), vice president of sales. Song and Yi shared their perspectives on China's automotive market, especially on EV and AV market.
Before arriving in Shanghai, the group also visited Didi and Sinovation Ventures in Beijing. Ohio State alumni Christine Pan (04, MBA ), Jason Huang (09, MBA) and Rui Liang (12, BS) welcomed the groups. Director of the China Gateway Phoebe You accompanied the group to Beijing. |
