BFCCPS Morning Options
We are wrapping up the last few weeks of the 2018-2019 school year and making preparations for our move to 500 Financial Park Drive. At this time we have launched our Morning Care registration for the 2019-2020 school year.

We understand that the logistics surrounding the need for morning care involve a better understanding of what morning activities your student(s) might elect to participate in including morning activities such a Band and Chorus. As such, please find some information for planning purposes so that you can begin to consider what days you would be interested in morning care.
Band and Chorus for 2019-2020
Instrumental music is available to fourth through eighth grade students who are invited to select from a variety of brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. Participating students receive a group lesson once a week during a PE class.  Students who participate in the instrumental program also participate in one of the three performance bands; Concert Band (4th Grade), Wind Ensemble (5th/6th Grade) and Symphonic Band (7th/8th Grade). Each of these bands performs for the school community multiple times throughout the year. Rehearsal is mandatory and takes place mornings before school. Our band program reinforces our character development initiatives by emphasizing responsibility and respect.

Grade 5-8 students are also invited to participate in marching band and continue the school tradition of marching in the Memorial Day parade.
