Roll out your trikes and bikes and plastic vehicles. It's time for a car wash. Use the drive way space. Dress child in rain boots. Grab buckets and sponges. Don't use the spray unless an older child or you are "manning" the hose.

Snack Time - Morah Mindy's Passover Granola
This can be eaten as cereal with milk, as a mix-in with yogurt or as a snack out of the bag.  If someone has nut allergies, omit nuts and increase small dice dried fruit only. (ships well in the mail)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix in large bowl:
3 c. matzah farfel          2/3 c. almonds            1/2 c.  honey
3/4 stick melted butter         1/2 c, coconut      2/3 c pecans
1.5 tsp cinnamon          1/4 tsp nutmeg           1.5 c diced dry fruit

Spread onto flat baking sheet or use lasagne pan for less mess
Bake all but fruit for 15 min. then add fruit.  Cool and bag.  I have mailed this to my college students, newly weds and millenials.

Readiness

Chalk Talk
Leave a picture or message in chalk on the driveway of a neighbor or friend today

Adding Machine Tape-
Use adding machine tape to make comic strips (parents or older sibs can add the bubble conversations.)  Use the tape to write a long long letter or picture to a friend or loved one. Use to make a timeline of your time at home from Day 1 (or the actual date) to our return to school. Use pictures or lists of special things done on each day.

Crafts Time to recycle

Make a spice box from a camera film case. Adults-punch a hole through the lid. decorate and fill with spices for a teeny tiny spice box.

Egg cartons are great seedling starters. add 3 tbsp on dirt to each section cup. use a pencil to poke a hole. plant seeds. cartons can be planted either separated by section or as a package
