Residents of Franklin should have been contacted by the Franklin Transportation Department by email. These notices were sent on May 3. It is important to note that they will not send additional reminders regarding this service. You will need the ID number provided in the email to register your child for the bus via the Franklin Transportation Department, registration will be
completed online via UniBank
.
Once logged in, you will see your student’s information. Scroll to the bottom to see the amount due, if any.
If there is no amount due, you will automatically be issued a bus pass and you may exit the screen. No payment is required.
If your amount due is $360, you must make a minimum payment of $180 by June 17, 2019 in order to be guaranteed a seat on the bus for the upcoming 2020 school year.
Final payment must be made by July 19, 2019. If you believe you might qualify for free or reduced payment, please use the application link below to complete the enrollment form and be sure to check the box on the bottom right.
The cost per child is $360.00 with a cap of $1,080.00 per family.
Parents who do not meet the June 17
th
initial payment deadline will not have another opportunity until after September 27, 2019.
Credit card payments will only be accepted online and a convenience fee is charged at the time. Online payment by electronic check is subject to a $0.25 fee.

Franklin Middle School Bus:
BFCCPS Middle School Students who reside in Franklin that ride the bus can catch the Franklin High School bus in their neighborhood in the morning and get off at the High School. They will transfer to another bus which transports them to BFCCPS for arrival by 7:30am. (Mrs. Schwab will be there to greet all students to assist them in the transfer process the first few days.)
Students will attend Before School Care until 8 am. BFCCPS does not charge a morning care fee for Grades 6-8 students that take the bus. When registering for

, please sign up your students and indicate that they are Middle School bus riders.
